Noted film critic and writer, Peter Keough, will visit CinemaSalem on Thursday,
September 8 at 8:30 pm, to help introduce the unusual world premiere of Nick
Cave’s new film, One More Time With Feeling.

Keough has covered film in the Boston area for more than 26 years, first as Film
Editor at the Boston Phoenix, and currently as a correspondent for the Boston
Globe. In 2013, he served on the jury of the Toronto International Film Fest, and
hosted the awards event.

Keough is visiting CinemaSalem to lead a discussion of the new film’s unusual
release (playing on September 8 at 9 pm at more than 650 theaters around the
world), and the previous productions of the film’s director, Andrew Dominik, who
helmed Chopper, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,
and Killing Them Softly.

Musician Nick Cave has teamed with Dominik for One More Time With Feeling, a
feature that will include the first opportunity anyone will have to hear songs from
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds 16th studio album, Skeleton Tree.
Originally a performance based concept, One More Time With Feeling will explore
the writing and recording of the album. Interwoven throughout the Bad Seeds’
filmed performance of the new album are interviews and footage shot by Dominik,
accompanied by Cave’s narration.

Also included in the 30-minute talk will be a discussion about the tragic backdrop
of the new film, caused by the accidental death of Nick Cave’s son during the
production. Tickets for the discussion and the premiere of One More Time with
Feeling are  available at www.CinemaSalem.com.
