Terre, Dio et Bondye is a multimodal, installation-based iteration connecting land, water, and sky as the point of departure for these proposed installation works. Working from the artist’s lexicon, Edwige Charlot employs the traditional ways of making imprinting, embossing, and encoding to map and mark, allowing the medium of printmaking and the discoveries of the press bed to give new insights into their interpretation of Creole identity.
