Salem State Hosts Week of Events to honor Martin Luther King, Jr.

Greed. Lies. Revenge. And love. Nathaniel Hawthorne’s iconic American novel, “The House of the Seven Gables,” has it all. It took 167 years but the wait is worth it. Playwright JF Dacey has adapted the book for stage and North Shore audiences are in for a treat. Three dramatically staged readings are scheduled in mid-January and those interested are advised to reserve their seats now.

An evening of dance with faculty and friends at Salem State University

SALEM, MA – Salem State dance faculty Meghan McLyman, Betsy Miller and James Morrow present and perform an evening of original choreography on Saturday, September 16 in the Sophia Gordon Center for Creative and Performing Arts. They are joined by guest artists, the Caitlin Corbett Dance Company and Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion. This concert is a “Salem Night at the Sophia”, with free admission for residents of Salem.
